EV Charger wiring/ Installation

Using an electric vehicle on a regular basis requires safe and easy-to-use charging installations.

Imagine never going to the gas station again! Such convenience is one of the key advantages of an electric vehicle. You can improve the charging time of your new vehicle by installing a Level 2 (230-volt) charger at home.

Unless you are a licensed and trained professional, installing a 230 Volt EV charger can be very difficult.  EV On- board chargers consume lots of power and a minor error in wiring procedure could lead a massive damage and loss to the ‘Car On-board Charging System” resulting a costly Charging System replacement. Further, EV charging will happen on an unattended environment and mostly in overnight charging. A Short-Circuit errors also could lead to a fire damage to the vehicle and property. It is very clear that the EV charging cannot be recommended through the domestic power supply outlets and it is risky and unsafe on a long run. Recommend for dedicated power supply from the main switch to the EV Charging socket on a properly installed High-tension power wire code.
